A zebricorn??

Well, another day another blog post! I realise I am pretty rubbish at updating but I am trying to overcome my fear of technology and keep on.

This weekend I've been toying with the idea of a unique toy (see what I did there?!) and I think I have finally got a concept I am happy with. After lots of drawing, redrawing and designing I have a zebricorn. A multi coloured zebra cross unicorn with a fabulous horn and fancy wings. I'm really pleased with the design. Hoping to craft a prototype this week whilst waiting for some amazing fabric to arrive. I promise lots of pictures to follow by the weekend if the rest of this week goes to plan.

Anyone else have a fabric addiction? I have a wish list longer than a bus of fabrics I need. Ok so maybe I don't NEED them as such but still, here's hoping I win the lottery this week so I can indulge and buy out my favourite fabric supplier. Ribbon is also fast becoming an addiction, in need of some fancy storage solutions building I feel! 

Introductions..

Well I'm dipping my toe into the fascinating world of blogging!

Lately I've been obsessed with Pintrest, searching new ideas of things to create and how to shape and grow my business. What I found on Pintrest is that many of the interesting pins I checked a lot sent me to various blogs so I thought I would try it myself! Today I will start with an introduction post, here goes...

My name is Abi, I'm a single mum and trying to create a home business to allow me to be at home with them. I love to sew and create things, my passions are fabric and threads, a girl can never have too much, right?

I created zebrastripe creations as an outlet for my creativity, currently working on a business plan, a direction to take me in so now the future seems excitingly full of possibilities!

Will update once I've ironed out my directives, the future will be zebra striped!!
